Visit AIRBUS ILLESCAS: February 20, 2019
The students of the Master have had the opportunity to visit the AIRBUS Illescas plant.
The establishment has been seen in its entirety and it has been possible to visit the newest and technologically most advanced plant where the Wing Lower Cover of the A350XWB is produced with one of the most innovative technologies in the world of pre-preg fiber deposition, the Mtorres hybrid ATL / AFP, being able to see in detail how is the manufacturing process of the lower lining of the wing of the A350
Visit AIRBUS GETAFE: February 14, 2019
The students of the Master have had a class in AIRBUS Getafe of essays in composite materials of the module "Analysis of Structures" on February 14, given by José Luis Fauste Duque. In addition to receiving the class, they visited the testing laboratories.
SImulatión: January 8-17, 2019
Researcher Dr. Diego Garijo of the Institute of Excellence IMDEA Materials have introduced students to the numerical calculation FEM through the ABAQUS platform.
Static / dynamic simulation, linear / non linear simulation and wave propagation in composite materials have been the main arguments treated.
Visit FIDAMC: November 22, 2018
The visit began with a brief talk about FIDAMC by Fernando Rodriguez Lence ( thermoplastics department manager). Then, the students had the opportunity to visit the facilities and the manufacturing processes.
Visita a AIRBUS ESPACIO: June 1, 2017
At the conclusion of the module of "Composites Space applications" the students of the master have visited the only AIRBUS facilities dedicated to SPACE in Spain.
After an introduction to the current projects, Alicia Ayuso (Director of the Department of Innovation and Development Programs) and Victor Bautista have accompanied and explained the production processes, dynamics tests methodologies and all projects currently in the plant.
Visit AIRBUS ILLESCAS: April 26, 2017
Master’s students have had the opportunity to visit the AIRBUS Illescas plant.
The establishment has been visited in its entirety and it has been possible to see in detail how sections 19 and 19.1 of the A380 and A350 XWB are produced.
Further it has been possible to visit the newest and technologically most advanced plant where the Wing Lower Cover of the A350XWB is produced with one of the most innovative technologies in the world of pre-preg fiber deposition (Mtorres Hybrid ATL/AFP).
TECNATOM
Maite Aguado and Miguel Ángel López have welcomed, very warmly, the master in composite materials in the TECNATOM structures..
Tecnatom is a group specialized in industrial safety and instrumentation for non-destructive inspection of materials for more than 50 years.s.
The students had the opportunity to visit the production plant and the nuclear plant simulator..

The evaluation of each subject consists in exercises to be carried out by students at home, using the notes.
The evaluation and the daily attendance control are not aimed at troubling the students’ career but at ensuring the students’ active participation and rigour. Dishonorable attitudes (false signature, copy of reports and notes) are not accepted.
